Losing a pet is one of the hardest moments in a pet family's life. A custom portrait can give one favorite photo a quieter, gallery-style form you can keep beyond the camera roll.
We render memorial tributes in our Classic Portrait style: a dignified, oil-painting-style portrait of your pet as themselves — no costume, no crown, just a gentle fine-art-style piece that reads as a gallery tribute, not a joke. We do not use your pet's photo to train AI models or sell the upload. Your portrait stays private unless you choose to publish an unlisted tribute link.
A free preview comes first. The finished portrait is $9.99 with no subscription. Recommended at 8×8 inches (300 PPI); 10×10 uses 240 PPI and is usually suitable when the printer accepts it. Large-format printing is not currently offered.

- Does this work for a pet who has passed away?
- Yes. Start with a favorite photo where the face and eyes are reasonably clear. Older or slightly imperfect photos can work; the free preview lets you judge the likeness before purchasing anything.
- What photo should I use for a memorial portrait?
- Any clear photo where your pet's face and eyes are visible. Daylight shots work best, but older phone photos are usually enough. Avoid heavy shadow across the face or extreme angles. If you only have one or two photos left, try the free preview — it costs nothing to see the result first.
- Will it really look like them?
- Your photo is the visual reference, and the portrait is designed to retain recognizable details such as fur color and markings, eye color, ear shape, and snout shape. Review the free preview yourself; if the original result misses, you get one free retry.
- Is this an okay sympathy gift for someone who lost a pet?
- It can be, but grief is personal. Use their pet's photo only with permission, preview the likeness first, and consider whether they would prefer a small framed portrait, the digital file, or the option to create it themselves.
- Can I add their name and dates?
- Yes. You can add their name, the years you shared, and a short line beneath the on-screen portrait. You can also publish an unlisted tribute page to share by link. The downloaded artwork is the portrait itself; a print shop can add the name and dates to a mat if you frame it.
- What size and frame work best for a memorial portrait?
- The 2400px file is optimized for small prints up to about 8×8 inches. A generous mat with a simple matte-black or walnut frame creates a quiet gallery-style tribute.
